Meet Colleen Lynch—
Your Dedicated Scottsdale and PhoenixArizona Realtor
It’s funny how our lives can be changed in an instant and take on a direction that probably wouldn’t have happened had that one thing not occurred.
My path to my current real estate career started early on in my life. I grew up the child of a successful real estate agent, my mom, Jody. She went to work when I was 5 years old selling real estate. It seemed like she lived and breathed the business. When I turned 16 she got her brokers license and opened up “House of Homes Realty” in Napa, CA. She hired me as her office assistant and receptionist after school was out for the summer. Tragically, only 4 months after opening her office, she was killed in an automobile accident. A few days later I remember passing by her office and seeing the wreath on her door made me vow to myself and her that one day I would open up my own real estate company too!
Well, it took a lot of years for that to happen. I first got my real estate license when I lived in Virginia back in the early 80’s. Unfortunately the interest rates were so high that it was practically impossible to make a living at selling real estate. After 5 years of trying it part-time, I hung up my license to dry… until 1995 that is. I moved to Arizona in 1992 just at the tail end of the bad real estate market. I had a corporate type job for three years until I decided that I’d had enough with office politics and never-ending hours that took me away from my young family. So, in April of 1995 I got my real estate license and started selling new homes. It was a great transition into the re-sale market that can be so hard to break into. In 1999 I decided that it was about time to fulfill my life-long dream and get my brokers license.
I love my career, my freedom, being able to see my family more and meeting some amazing people which I would never had met had I not gone into real estate. It was destiny.
I look forward to helping you achieve YOUR real estate destiny!
